Batik Fabric Making Workshop (Group Trainings)

Express your creativity and discover the beauty of Batik fabric making by joining our workshop or training in Uganda! 

• Spaces are limited to 8 participants per day.⁠

• Materials are procured on your behalf*

• Training at Letasi Workshop or your choice of location*

*If training is done at your location, we will bring the core batiking materials and you will receive an additional standard list of requirements to prepare your location space.

You will get to learn and experience:⁠⠀
1. Introduction on the materials and tools needed, followed by the various techniques/ methods in batik-making.⁠⠀
2. For you to express your creativity, you will be provided with  1-Yard of cotton fabric.
3. Next, we will go through the dye preparation and colour mixing (from primary to secondary and tertiary colours), and batiking technique.⁠⠀
